Below is a transcript of the testimonial by Dr. Tapasree Roy Sarkar from the Department of Biology at Texas A&M University about her experience publishing the paper, “Carcinoma cells that have undergone an epithelial-mesenchymal transition differentiate into endothelial cells and contribute to tumor growth,” with Oncotarget.
Dr. Tapasree Roy Sarkar
I have previously published a paper in Oncotarget, not as in a principal investigator. I’ve seen that how nicely the reviews are done over there, and they ask for … generally, they really want to have a very solid and very effective research work. So whatever the reviews that I have received previously also, it really helped to make the paper a better paper or a very nice paper.
So similarly for this journal also … so when I was thinking of … this name definitely came first, and this was the first journal I submitted here. And the review comments that I received, I answered all of those and it really helped to make the paper a better shape. Definitely answered all the questions.
I’m sure that when everyone reads this paper, they’ll realize that it is a really nice paper and I am really thankful to all the reviewers for their good, nice comments.
And so, thank you so much Oncotarget. And in the future also, I definitely will go to Oncotarget for my future discoveries.
Thank you.
